Effective Date: December 16, 2025
Last Updated: December 16, 2025
Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Vectors Aviation, LLC (“Vectors,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) regarding your use of the Vectors aviation maintenance and operations intelligence service (the “Service”).
By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Critical Aviation Safety Notice
AI-Generated Information Disclaimer
THE SERVICE USES ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TO GENERATE RESPONSES. AI-GENERATED INFORMATION MAY BE INCOMPLETE, INACCURATE, OR INCORRECT.
- Verify all information with official sources before relying on it for flight operations or maintenance decisions
- Cross-check regulatory compliance against current FAA regulations and airworthiness directives
- Confirm maintenance due dates with actual logbook entries and aircraft records
- Do not rely solely on AI responses for critical safety decisions
Pilot in Command Authority
Per 14 CFR § 91.3 (Federal Aviation Regulations), the pilot in command is directly responsible for and is the final authority as to the operation of the aircraft.
The Service is provided for informational and convenience purposes only. It does not:
- Replace your responsibility as pilot in command
- Substitute for official FAA publications, regulations, or guidance
- Serve as the sole source for airworthiness determinations
- Override manufacturer maintenance requirements or FAA directives
- Constitute professional advice from a certificated mechanic or inspector
You remain solely responsible for:
- Verifying aircraft airworthiness before each flight
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable FAA regulations
- Confirming accuracy of maintenance records and due dates
- Making final go/no-go decisions
- Operating within the limitations of your certificates and ratings
Use of Information
Information provided by the Service, including but not limited to:
- Maintenance schedules and due dates
- Weather briefings and forecasts
- Aircraft performance calculations
- Regulatory compliance status
- Document search results
Must be verified with authoritative sources including:
- Official aircraft logbooks and maintenance records
- Current FAA regulations (FAR/AIM)
- Aircraft Flight Manual / Pilot’s Operating Handbook
- FAA-issued Airworthiness Directives
- Current NOTAM and weather briefings from official sources
- Certificated mechanics and inspectors
Service Accuracy Depends on Your Data
THE SERVICE’S ASSESSMENTS ARE ONLY AS ACCURATE AS THE DATA YOU PROVIDE.
If you:
- Have not logged recent flights
- Have incorrect aircraft hours or cycles
- Have not uploaded current maintenance records
- Have incomplete or outdated information
- Have not updated equipment changes or modifications
Then the Service’s output WILL BE INCORRECT.
The Service cannot verify the accuracy of your data and assumes all information you provide is current and correct. “Garbage in, garbage out”—inaccurate input data will produce inaccurate assessments.
Flight Readiness Assessments Are Not Airworthiness Determinations
When the Service provides a “flight readiness” assessment, it is NOT an airworthiness determination.
The assessment is:
- A SUMMARY of data you have entered, not an inspection
- Based ONLY on the information you provided
- NOT a verification of actual compliance with FARs
- NOT a substitute for your preflight airworthiness check
- NOT a certification that your aircraft is legal to fly
The Service may state “ready to fly” or “no overdue items found” - this means only that no items appear overdue BASED ON THE DATA YOU ENTERED. It does NOT mean:
- Your aircraft is actually airworthy
- You have met all FAA regulatory requirements
- Your maintenance records are complete or accurate
- You are current and qualified to fly
You MUST verify all items against your actual aircraft logbooks before each flight.
No Guarantee of Regulatory Compliance
THE SERVICE DOES NOT GUARANTEE COMPLIANCE WITH FAA REGULATIONS.
If you:
- Fail a ramp check or FAA inspection
- Are cited for regulatory violations
- Are found operating outside currency requirements
- Are operating an unairworthy aircraft
- Receive an FAA enforcement action
- Are involved in an incident or accident investigation
You CANNOT claim reliance on the Service’s output as a defense.
YOU are solely responsible for:
- Verifying compliance before each flight
- Maintaining accurate and complete records
- Ensuring aircraft airworthiness
- Meeting all pilot currency requirements
- Complying with all applicable FARs
The Service is a convenience tool for tracking and organizing information. It does not replace your legal obligations as pilot in command or aircraft owner/operator.
Eligibility
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be legally capable of entering into binding contracts
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Comply with all applicable aviation regulations and laws
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization (flight school, aircraft partnership, maintenance facility), you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
